Welcome to the main website of the Manipulation Lab. The website serves primarily to centralize the many resources that our lab has and to provide a well organized portal to our external websites.

The goal of the Manipulation Lab is autonomous robotic manipulation in the presence of uncertainty. In order to accomplish this, we are addressing these key issues:

What are the fundamental mechanics of manipulation?
How should we model physical processes?
How can a robot construct a plan to achieve specified goals?
How can minimal sensor information be used to achieve tasks?
